Walk the trails, fish, or birdwatch at Rueter Hess Reservoir, Bingham Lake Park, or Bayou Gulch Regional Park. Cherry Creek Trail is a picturesque, 40-mile route that begins in downtown Denver and connects various communities — including Parker — throughout suburban and rural Arapahoe and Douglas Counties.
 
Horse lovers frequent the Colorado Horse Park, which is home to many equestrian events, including top hunter/jumper, dressage, and eventing competitions.
